Gregory Tappero is the founder of Holofin, an AI-powered document processing platform that combines computer vision and agentic AI to classify, segment, extract, and validate data from unstructured documents. Holofin reports 95%+ zero-shot extraction accuracy across bank statements, tax documents, payslips, invoices, and complex tables, with a focus on fraud detection across 70 forensic indicators and fact grounding that links every extracted data point back to its source location in the original document.
Before founding Holofin in 2023, Gregory served as Co-Founder and CTO at Silvr, a fintech providing revenue-based financing for e-commerce SMEs, where he led engineering, product, data, and security -including the company's ISO 27001 certification for information security management. Earlier roles include CTO at Chefclub, a viral food media brand where he led product and engineering, and Director of Engineering at PeopleDoc France (Novapost), managing a Python engineering team building payslip distribution systems.
Gregory holds a Specialized Master in Digital Business Strategy from HEC Paris and a Computer Science degree with Honours from Macquarie University in Sydney. Originally from Noumea, New Caledonia, his career spans 15+ years of engineering leadership across EdTech, fintech, and intelligent document processing.
