Overview

This profile covers an integrator, not a product. Unlike most entries in this IDP vendor directory, TeDeG describes itself as a herstellerunabhängige Boutique, meaning a vendor-independent boutique, and sums up its positioning as Fokus statt Software-Bauchladen, roughly "focus instead of a software general store". Its business is choosing a suitable platform from a small partner portfolio, integrating it into a German enterprise's existing systems, and running support afterwards. Buyers evaluating it are buying selection and implementation capacity, not licensing a differentiated engine.

The legal entity is TeDeG GmbH, entered in the Düsseldorf commercial register on 26 March 2004 and led by managing director Holger Haseney. The website says the firm has been optimizing processes "seit 2003", a year before that registration; the company does not explain the gap, which most plausibly reflects predecessor consulting activity but is not documented anywhere public.

Scale is small and the company does not publish headcount. The two claims that anchor its track record, more than 60 delivered projects and more than 150 million customer interactions handled, are company-stated, with no named reference customers or case studies attached. The site is primarily German, and the target market is German-speaking enterprise service and back-office operations.

What TeDeG actually sells

The partner portfolio is the substance of the offering, and it is unusually explicit for an integrator. Six software vendors are named on the site: Hyperscience and Infrrd for intelligent document processing, Resistant AI for document fraud detection, Verint for customer engagement and email response management, TriniCo, and Windsurf/Codeium for AI-assisted development tooling.

Those platforms are packaged into named solution categories rather than sold as raw licenses: Intelligent Document Processing, Intelligent E-Mail and Document Processing, Anti Fraud Management, E-Mail Response Management, Web Self Service with intelligent virtual assistants, and agent knowledge and assistant services. The combination signals where the firm actually sits: at the junction of inbound document handling and contact-center operations, rather than in pure back-office capture.

How the resold platforms process documents

The document processing capability here belongs to the partner products, so evaluation should focus on them. Hyperscience runs a supervised machine-learning pipeline that handles classification and field-level data extraction across structured forms and semi-structured documents, with confidence thresholds routing low-certainty items to human review. Infrrd targets documents where layout varies enough that template-based OCR breaks down, using a model ensemble rather than a single extraction pass.

TeDeG's contribution is the surrounding work: choosing between those two, connecting the chosen platform to the customer's existing systems, and combining document processing with email and fraud checks in one flow. The Intelligent E-Mail and Document Processing category reflects that combined intake, with inbound correspondence classified and extracted through the same pipeline as scanned documents. Resistant AI adds a distinct layer, examining a submitted file's metadata and structure for signs of manipulation instead of reading its contents, which addresses a risk that extraction accuracy alone does not.

Use cases

Inbound document and correspondence handling

The core case is high-volume inbound intake in insurance, financial services, and utilities, where scanned post and email arrive together and both need classifying, extracting, and routing into case management. This is where the integration work rather than the extraction model usually decides whether a project succeeds.

Document fraud detection

Through Resistant AI, the firm addresses manipulated documents in onboarding and claims: altered PDFs, edited bank statements, and synthetic files that extract cleanly but are not genuine. This sits alongside rather than inside the IDP pipeline.

Customer service automation

The Verint-based side covers email response management, self-service knowledge, and virtual assistants. This is the "intelligent customer interactions" half of the tagline.

What is not independently verified

Almost every quantitative claim on this page is company-stated. The 60-plus projects and 150 million customer interactions have no named customers, published case studies, or third-party validation behind them, and no independent review coverage of the firm exists on the usual software directories. Headcount and revenue are not published.

The partner relationships are asserted by TeDeG on its own site and were not confirmable from the partner side. That absence is weaker evidence than it looks: Hyperscience's public partners page is a curated showcase of a dozen global strategic partners, not a searchable reseller directory, so a regional boutique would not be expected to appear there whether or not the relationship is real. The claim is unconfirmed, not contradicted.

One caveat applies to the vendor's own web presence. The English-language about page still contains unedited CMS template placeholder text, describing a company "fonded 20 years ago by a group of fellow MIT graduates" and referencing iOS and Symbian development. This is a maintenance artifact rather than a claim the company is making, but it means that page carries no information about TeDeG and should not be read as company history.
